Thank you for attending the North Valley Thank you for attending the
North
Valley Demonstration Trail Conceptual Design Public Workshop held
Dec. 6-8,
2007. Your participation was invaluable. For those unable to
attend, this
slide show was presented at each day of the 3-day workshop.
The
workshop provided significant information exchange between the
community, organizations, and agencies involved
with Ditches with Trails.
Overall, participant feedback was positive
and we look forward to continued
collaboration.
Among various design ideas was the continued
desire to maintain a natural,
rustic setting. To learn more, check out the
workshop summary the
consultants are developing on this website
in February. Following
additional comment and analysis of options
discussed, Alta Planning + Design
will develop a Schematic Design Document to
be presented to the MRGCD
Board in Spring 2008.

community-initiated partnership seeking to
preserve ditches in Bernalillo
County, and assess the feasibility of formally
allowing trails along some
ditches.
